This targeted advertising is getting ridiculous. ...Then again, she is just my type. Well, at least beautiful ladies like that are happy to shred The Star Spangled Banner on two flying-V's for a little league baseball game. Now THAT's American.

Now that the weather is cool enough to keep the windows open in the evening, I can see out the window above my sink while I'm at my desk. It's just at the corner of my left field of vision. I keep thinking I see something out there that darts away when I turn my head to look. Surely, I'm just seeing things. But, I like a good chill and it made me feel like listening to some ghostly songs. Halloween's coming up. Anyone else excited about that?

Hmm. I always pictured more of a Ron-Swanson's-in-charge sort-of situation. Y'know, someone you can really admire and count on, but not so much when it comes to improving circumstances. (No offense, SGI. I do love the game!)

@Drustanus27 Well, that settles things. There's only one planet that Castle Siege could possibly take place on.

@SeaPetals Brava! I think the contrast in our tastes adds a fun, quirky quality to the music thread! Haha please don't take that the wrong way. I do intend it as a compliment.

At least that's a pleasant song! For some reason, this has been stuck in my head for the last 40 hours or so haha.

The music thread went all weekend without being posted upon? Well, that certainly won't do. Larry King: "Tracy Jordan: Saying three serious things and then a joke."

Six million still impressed me, but Jeebus Murphy, 543 million? I didn't even know there were videos with that many views. I feel like Jim Carrey in this old interview. In that allegory, the guy interviewing him represents 543 million people at once.

Jeez, ya do yer own thing for a few days, don't find the time to log in, finally get around to it, but not before having one too many drinks to react to anything appropriately without exhausting forethought, and there's this weird new "like" or- whatever- "react" function! I kinda like it so far, but I don't know where or how to respond to it. So, in the spirit of whatever nonsense I just typed there, here's some weird tracks that may or may not reflect my confused and ultimately ambivalent... Ah just scroll past it unless you've already found some interest in this sort of thing. Apparently, the Veil of Maya song below is a reference to Game of Thrones. I haven't seen the show, so I figured this would be a more appropriate thread in which to post this rather than the Game of Thrones one. Aaand as a parting note (probably not) to covers, here's The Black Dahlia Murder's 2002 cover of "Paint it Black". Cringe-worthy in many ways, yes, but still hard to not headbang to.

As long as covers are on-topic, I might as well see how Between the Buried and Me's cover album floats. They're a progressive metal group, but they stuck to the original sound of each of these songs, meaning it's not all growly vocals, distorted guitar, and blast beats. They just wanted to pay tribute to the bands that inspired and influenced them. ...Never thought I'd hear a metal band actually sing Queen's "Bicycle Race". Obviously I don't expect anyone to sit through an hour of this. It's, y'know, just in case anyone sees a song they like in the list below. [The darn thing's starting where I left the cursor last and I can't seem to fix it haha. Sorry for the inconvenience.] Track list- Blackened (Metallica) - 0:00 Kickstart My Heart (Motley Crue) - 6:40 The Day I Tried to Live (Soundgarden) - 11:34 Bicycle Race (Queen) - 17:00 Three of a Perfect Pair (King Crimson) - 20:10 Us and Them (Pink Floyd) - 24:21 Geek U.S.A. (Smashing Pumpkins) - 32:14 Forced March (Earth Crisis) - 37:39 Territory (Sepultura) - 41:30 Change (Blind Melon) - 46:21 Malpractice (Faith No More) - 50:28 Little 15 (Depeche Mode) - 54:30 Cemetery Gates (Pantera) - 59:01 Colorblind (Counting Crows) - 1:06:05

Ahh hot dog, so much good music since I last visited! @Septerror43 I hadn't seen that metal cover of that Frozen song! Dude's got a decent voice. Haha and I love that the crowd started getting into it, too. @Subhajit Roy Yes! I love Jared Dines! His channel's been going downhill lately, but his older content is fantastic. He has so many videos I've wanted to share on here, but they're all a little too inappropriate for this forum. His "Things Guitar Store Employees Say" video kills me, as well as... Well, I forgot the title but it's about coming out of the metalhead closet to your friends and family haha. @SeaPetals Aw, thanks for thinking of Septerror and I haha . Nice of you to think of the people enduring the storm, too! Here's some fun rainy music. Of course, not without some unhappy piano music [goofy metal face]. This may be a repeat. I don't remember everything I've shared here anymore haha.

Hand on, just lemme run a quick test to make sure the strange-musical-taste filter is still turned off... So, as long as music that^ grating and hard to listen to is still up here, it's probably safe to post anything that you, @Rahul3555, may perceive as objectionable haha.
